About
Who are we?
Mission Statement:
East Coast Canine Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 volunteer-based animal welfare organization. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless canines from crowded shelters, as well as situations of abuse and neglect. We also answer social media and personal pleas to rehome dogs. Working with our network of animal advocates, foster caregivers, veterinarians, shelters and rehabilitation centers; ECCR is able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of animals per year.
ECCR provides outstanding care to the dogs in our partner foster homes until they are placed in their adoptive homes. Via social media and outreach programs/campaigns, we also serve as an informational resource to our local communities.
We bring awareness to the surplus of great dogs in our country's shelters, emphasize the importance to spay/neutering all dogs and cats, facilitate the procedure to members of our communities in need, help with behavioral training advice, and motivate our followers to get involved in their communities.
East Coast Canine rescue was founded by Vicki and Paula. They are passionate animal advocates and dog lovers who have dedicated years of their lives to rescuing and rehoming lost, relinquished, and abused animals.
We are proud to be a continuously growing rescue, with the most dedicated volunteers and colaborators.
We primarily serve the Northeast and Southeastern United States. These areas present a large number of animals in need and we will be there to help them. In collaboration with our veterinarian and shelter partners, the rescue is able to transfer these dogs into foster homes. Once there, they will receive loving care until their adoptions.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, ECCR is able to provide food, medical services, and preventative care to these forgotten dogs that have no other chance at life.
